from a whole range of local and national languages.*

Lost property services

  • Should you be unfortunate enough to lose your luggage, the good news is we offer support and assistance with the reporting and investigation.
    We’re also able to help you trace lost luggage, including liaising with the airline on your behalf and providing you with twice daily updates until it’s resolved.
  • We can help you report all lost or stolen credit, debit and charge cards and advise you on the best procedure to follow. And in cases where you cannot make contact with the card issuer, we’ll attempt to report the loss for you.
  • We can help you report the loss or theft of mobile phones and SIM connected devices too, such as tablets and advise you on how best to go about it, including making contact with your network provider should you be unable to.
  • Losing your luggage, phone or credit card is one thing, but you’d be totally lost without your passport. So we provide the telephone number, address and opening hours of the nearest embassy or consulate as well as offer support on the processes for arranging a replacement passport. We will even contact family or friends should you need copies of any documentation.

You can add Avis Travel Partner to your online reservation when you book your rental with us on our website – you’ll see it when you add Extras to your booking (as long as it is one of our participating locations).
You can also add Travel Partner when you call us to make a booking - and you can even add it to your reservation in person, when you pick up your vehicle at the rental station.
